Experience Ecstasy And Become A Vessel For Grace

The truth is that our finest moments are most likely to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable, unhappy, or unfulfilled. For it is only in such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our ruts and start searching for different ways or truer answers."

M. Scott Peck

Last week I gifted myself a week in the heart chakra of the UK - Sunny Glastonbury. I found myself deeply outside of my comfort zone. This manifested as resistance, home sickness, a need to be on my own (away from people), feeling lost at sea, vulnerable and fearful.

Together with 16 fellow shamanic practitioners (heart warriors) and 3 incredible teachers the week we immersed ourselves in 12 hour days of intense healing modalities, ranging from  holotropic breath work,, sweat lodge, ritual and ceremony witch magic that goes beyond human language. We shared our darkest shadows and our most vulnerable hearts,  being witnessed by one another .

So, despite the discomfort, this week will go down as one of the best experiences of my life because dancing with the uncomfortable was the feelings of bliss, deep joy, connection and ecstasy!!

What I have come to know through this ever unfolding journey of self illumination, is that when we break through our own inner glass ceiling (our comfort zone) there is an expansion that goes beyond words. It's a felt remembrance of the magnificence of who we really are and its ecstatic!
The week was a good reminder of how I support my students - to move beyond the known.

What I observe in those students courageous
enough to move into the discomfort is a shift in their frequency. They begin to let their hearts lead and move through life with more ease and grace.

‘Sadness and joy are a dance within us. And when we embrace and allow that dance, then something remarkable and marvellous occurred within us, the alchemy of ecstasy. Despite what you might think, ecstasy is not an extreme state of joy. It is the result of sadness and joy making love inside of us. Ecstasy comes about naturally as we accept life utterly. It contains as much grief as it contains joy. It includes aloneness and intimacy, doubt and hope, mortality and eternity’.

Have you noticed that they way we did things before isn’t working?

There are some heart wrenching things happening on our planet and we need to be the change that we want to see out there!

If we each have the courage to take a step outside our comfort zone, to heal something that our ancestors didn't have the privilege of doing, we are playing our own significant role in positively moving the needle of humanity. Alchemising fear into love and pleasure into pain is the medicine the world needs the most right now!

Each of our soul’s contains a piece of the puzzle to our evolution. When we embark on our healing journey and commit to self-growth, we are contributing a higher vibration into the collective field – it’s the most important work we could ever do and we cannot wait!

Are you ready to step outside your comfort zone?

'When you embrace and embody your true essence, wherever you go you are at home. To embrace that essence you must come to know and then accept all parts of yourself- light and shadow. To radiate that essence you must remain devoted to your inner work and removing all barriers that stand in the way of you accessing all of your souls potential'
